Here is Kirsten Powers's latest column. How has it come to pass that the people who vote are vilified? I don't get it. Shouldn't you flatter those whose votes you need, or at least respect them? Do those in power believe that they are so entrenched that they can't be displaced? If so, they'll find out just how expendable they are on 2 November.
