To the Editor:
Regarding the Sept. 20 front-page article “Obama Advisers Weigh Offensive Against the G.O.P.,” only one word comes to mind:
Why?
Why is an ad assault something that needs to be weighed? Would any
self-respecting Republican ever hesitate to unleash a venal assault
against the Democrats?
Ladies and gentlemen of the Democratic Party: This is politics. Abandon
your good manners. Take off your gloves, go for the throat, fire at
will!
You want someone’s permission first? I’m a lifelong registered Democrat. You have my permission.

Note from KBJ: Was the letter writer paying attention during the two administrations of George W. Bush? The man was vilified. Has the letter writer been paying attention to the thuggish treatment of Sarah Palin? I never cease to be amazed by the selective ignorance of progressives. They see only what they want to see.
