Your editorial "Kids 0, Insurance 0"
(Sept. 25) fails to state the most important point. The action by
insurance companies to stop issuing child-only policies was not the
result of the failure of the Democrats to understand the effect of their
actions. It is exactly what was intended. The unavailability of such
policies will be touted as another hole in the system which must be
filled by government health care. As usual, the corrupt national news
media will support the need for the government to fill this void.
The whole goal of
ObamaCare is not to provide health care for anyone. The goal is to
create such havoc in the private health-care system that it will
collapse, resulting in a government takeover.
