Dear Keith:

Please let me congratulate you and your fellow Ranger fans for your team's AL championship. It gave me no great pleasure to watch the way your team dismantled the Yankees, but I was nevertheless quite impressed.

What struck me, and likely any baseball fan who watched this series, is that the Rangers can HIT!  At no time did I ever expect a 1-2-3 inning out of those guys. Josh Hamilton is a pleasure to watch, both at bat and in the field.

They also have a no-name rotation (other than Cliff Lee) that just shut down what was supposed to be a top notch lineup.

There is no doubt that the best team won. Good luck in the World Series.

Best regards,

John Sullivan

Note from KBJ: John and I had a friendly wager. The loser had to post a gracious concession and donate $20 to the other's parish.
