Keith,
Tonight the History channel (history.com) broadcast an episode of a new series called "Decoded" that argues that Meriwether Lewis did not die by suicide but by murder. As is usual with such programs, the actual evidence, which could have been presented in ten minutes, is surrounded by a lot of time-consuming irrelevancies intended to fill out the half-hour or hour with artificial drama. In tone, this program reminds me of that Nicholas Cage movie "National Treasure," which I think you might enjoy.
