Here is an op-ed column (by a law professor) about the constitutionality of the health-care mandate. Supporters of the mandate claim that it is a necessary means to a good end. But the end, however good, doesn't justify the means. If the end is health care for all, then some other means besides limiting individual liberty must be found.
