To the Editor:
Re “From Twins, Second Thoughts” (Business Day, Dec. 31), about the Winklevoss twins’ attempt to get a greater payout than the $65 million settlement of their suit against Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg for allegedly stealing their idea:
Even though they went to Harvard, they have not learned what any fifth grader knows: life is not always perfectly fair.
For example, is it fair to the rest of us that they were blessed with affluence, a privileged education, great looks (like matching Greek statues) and winning $65 million under the settlement they now want to unwind?
Now they want more?

Note from KBJ: The letter writer begs the question. If the twins are correct, then they are entitled to the money they seek. She assumes (without evidence or argument) that they are not entitled to the money and then condemns them for being greedy. How much do you want to bet that if the letter writer were in their position, she would be doing exactly what they are doing?
