I came late to the television series 24. About four years ago, one of my blog readers, Will Nehs, suggested that I watch it, and I was hooked. I watched part of Season Six and all of Seasons Seven and Eight. Now that the series is over (so they say), I'm going back in time to watch the previous seasons. Katherine and I finished Season One yesterday. It took twelve two-hour sittings. You may recall that this was the season in which Jack Bauer's wife and daughter were kidnapped. The 24 hours revolved around David Palmer's Democrat primary victory in California. I admit to being surprised that Nina was a mole. I should know by now that characters who appear to be good can easily turn out to be bad.
My plan when I purchased Season One was to purchase the remaining seasons individually, but recently I discovered that I can purchase all eight seasons in one boxed set, for $179.99. I will do so soon. Do you like 24?
