I leave you this fine evening with a column by T. A. Frank. The column is fairly well balanced, but, near the end, the author says that "much of the right truly has become unhinged." Is the author implying that the Right is more unhinged than the Left? That's risible. I've been on the left and now I'm on the right. The number and percentage of unhinged members is much higher on the left. Just look at the paranoid fantasies emanating from progressives after the Tucson massacre. Look at the violent imagery produced by the Left during George W. Bush's presidency. Look at the hatred and misogyny directed toward Sarah Palin, Sharron Angle, Christine O'Donnell, and Michele Bachmann. If the mental-health establishment weren't dominated by progressives, progressivism itself might be deemed a diagnosable (and one hopes treatable) ailment.
“Unhinged”
