You quote Justice Department spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler as saying that the department believes that challenges to ObamaCare should go the slow route through the appeals process rather than go straight to the Supreme Court "so the issues and arguments . . . can be fully developed before the Supreme Court decides whether to consider it" ("Health Foes Try Divergent Tactics," U.S. News, Feb. 4).

Wouldn't it have been nice if the Democratic House, Senate and administration had shown so much care and concern about fully developing the issues and arguments before ramming the law through?
