Katherine and I watched a wonderful movie this evening: The Missouri Breaks (1976). I saw part of it (perhaps most of it) on cable television many years ago, but I remember only some of the scenes. The acting is superb. Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson were coming off award-winning performances in The Godfather (1972) and One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), respectively, when they made this film. The plot was understandable, the characters adequately developed, and the scenery spectacular. (I love Montana, especially the Missouri Breaks area.) Here is the film's trailer.
