I leave you this fine evening with a blog post by Charles Simic, who writes: "As anyone who has traveled around this country and talked to people knows, Americans are not just badly informed, but downright ignorant about most things that affect their lives." Thank goodness this man has no power. Unfortunately, there are people in power who share his view.
