You report in the article "Ohio Vote Puts Curbs On Unions In Reach" (page one, March 3) that "Ohio has 655,000 union members, both public and private, representing 13.7% of its workers." In Wisconsin the percentage is 14.2%, and in Indiana it's 10.9%.
It appears that in these states, a very vocal and politically connected minority of less than 15% is trying to control (and tax) the remaining 85%. Isn't that what democracy is supposed to prevent?
