So-called climate scientists have almost single-handedly destroyed the credibility of all scientists. If I were a scientist of any sort, natural or social, I would condemn these frauds in the clearest, strongest terms, for they would be undermining my credibility. They deserve to be excommunicated from the Church of Science. Read the text of this blog post and then watch the video. If it doesn't make your blood boil, then you're cold-blooded.

As for why highly-trained scientists would risk their reputations on a hoax, isn't it obvious? They're ideologues. If they can persuade people (and their elected representatives) that the globe is warming, they will have great power over people's lives (not to mention individual fame and fortune). The fear of catastrophe will "justify" vast intrusions in the national (or world) economy, and, given the ratchet effect of such changes, they will be irreversible. In short, the "scientists" are attempting a bloodless coup d'état. Their "work" is politics masquerading as science.
