Re “Facing Lawmakers’ Fire, NPR Sees New Setback” (news article, March 9):
It’s not surprising that people who work in the news industry have personal views—even strong ones. After all, does anyone doubt that if a similar sting operation were pulled on Fox News representatives, they would say some pretty nasty things about Democrats?
What’s surprising is that James O’Keefe’s unethical means of discovering these personal views are benignly characterized as mere “stunts,” as if they are the work of a silly high school student and not a deadly serious political operative.
