I know there are men and women out there who would say they struggle with same-sex attraction, some are even married to opposite-sex partners. Their struggle, more often than not, is rooted in their religious beliefs. I know one man personally who abstains from sexual relations because of his same-sex attraction (formerly, this man used to be a gay rights proponent, but has since changed his tone).
Now, Apple is under fire for approving an app that would help men and women overcome their same-sex attractions, and gay rights groups are seeking to get the app, created by a religious organization, removed for its "bigotry."
Reminds me of this cartoon that perfectly illustrates this brand of political correctness.
