My beloved Arizona Wildcats (30-8) finally lost, to the Connecticut Huskies. The Cats had their chances to win as the clock ticked down, but their three-point shots didn't fall. The Cats seemed tired after the victory over Duke two days ago. I realize that Connecticut played two days ago as well, but they played San Diego State, not Duke. Beating Duke was like winning the title.
The Cats played far better this year than I either expected or had reason to expect. A year ago, they didn't even make the NCAA tournament.
