That the New York Times is a progressive newspaper is beyond cavil. I'm not talking about the op-ed columnists, although the vast majority of them lean left (why?); I'm talking about the news reports and cultural items. Read this, and then check the first dozen or so comments. If the New York Times had a politically balanced readership, would there be such an overwhelming preponderance of progressive comments (many of them abusive)? This, then, is what it has come to, folks: progressives writing for progressives. It's called an echo chamber.
Note from KBJ: Some of the commenters imply that Ann Coulter is stupid. Ha! She has a law degree from the University of Michigan; she was an editor of the Michigan Law Review; and she clerked for a federal appellate judge. Take my word for it: Only the most brilliant of law students accomplish these things.
