_Media Card_BlackBerry_pictures_IMG00565 Katherine and I attended our fourth Texas Rangers game of the season yesterday evening. We had a perfect record going in, but ended up losing for the first time this season. My goal now is a record of 15-5 in games we attend.

The weather was pleasant. It was 70º Fahrenheit at game time and stayed at 68º the rest of the way. The wind was light. I wore a gray Rangers hoodie over my buttondown shirt and Katherine wore a sweater. No rain has fallen on us this year (knock on wood).

The game started inauspiciously, with the Toronto Blue Jays scoring five runs in the first inning. The crowd of 21,755 was quiet. When the Rangers scored three runs in the second to make it 5-3, the crowd perked up. Alas, starting pitcher Matt Harrison couldn't hold the Blue Jays down. He gave up two more runs in the third to make it 7-3. In the fourth, while Katherine and I were posing for a photographer, Adam Lind hit his second home run of the game to make it 10-3. No runs were scored after the fourth inning. Despite the high score, the game took only 2:36. We were on our way home in the car by 10 o'clock.
