Here is Ann Coulter's latest column. I used to dislike Coulter's caustic style, but now I think I see the point of it. She is ribbing progressives at the same time she is criticizing their beliefs, values, and policies. Progressives are ever so earnest. Their aim, after all, is to erase the past (it's called revisionary history) and shape the future (it's called bringing about utopia, or heaven on earth). Have you ever known a progressive with a sense of humor? I'm serious. I haven't. Coulter makes fun of progressives, knowing that this will antagonize them. Have you mocked a progressive today?
