There is an unholy alliance between progressives (e.g., the editorial board of the New York Times) and libertarians (e.g., the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal) on the question of amnesty for illegal aliens. Ordinary Americans (i.e., conservatives) must stop these people from destroying our country. They would sell out our culture, our language, our traditions, and the rule of law to get new voters (the progressive motive) or to make greater profits (the libertarian motive).
