To the Editor:
President Obama’s call for Israel to return to the pre-1967 lines (along with negotiated land swaps) is an outrage. This extreme departure from established United States policy comes on the heels of Hamas’s partnership with Fatah. The last thing the United States should be doing right now is pressuring our only true friend in the region to make unprecedented concessions to a government that seeks its destruction.
