Charles Krauthammer is an establishment Republican who doesn't get the Tea Party. He despises, probably for cultural reasons, the likes of Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann. They don't have Ivy League degrees; they don't hobnob with sophisticates; they're unabashedly religious; and they connect with ordinary Americans in a way that Krauthammer, who lives in the Washington Beltway, never has or will. You may recall the recent misstatement by Bachmann to the effect that Concord and Lexington are in New Hampshire. Guess what? Krauthammer attributed this misstatement to Palin. Hoist with his own petar.
