If you've been reading this blog for the past few years, you will recognize the name "Daniel Maguire," for I have published several of his letters to the editor (with commentary). This man professes to be Roman Catholic and teaches in a Roman Catholic institution, but his views on certain issues, such as abortion and homosexual "marriage," are at odds with his church. One wonders what Catholicism means to him. Does he think one can believe just anything and still be Catholic? Could he believe in bestiality or human sacrifice and still be Catholic? Could he believe in marriage between humans and animals and still be Catholic? Could he believe in infanticide or genocide and still be Catholic? Here is a blog post about the disgraced professor.
