In an editorial opinion ironically entitled "How a Democracy Works," the editorial board of the New York Times proves that it has no understanding of, or respect for, democracy. Just open the borders and let people come in. The American people have said over and over again that they do not want amnesty for illegal aliens. This means nothing to the board. Since the board is advocating that President Obama act without the consent of Congress, a better title would be "How Autocracy Works."
