William Jacobson has some reflections on blogging, now that he has moved his blog. I, too, started with Blogger (on 5 November 2003). From there I went to PowerBlogs, thence to WordPress, thence to TypePad. I'm very happy with TypePad and recommend it warmly to anyone who is serious about blogging and willing to pay for it. I also agree with the good professor that conservative bloggers are generous and helpful to newcomers. I received a great deal of assistance from Dr John J. Ray in Australia shortly after I began blogging, and he has been a source of inspiration ever since. I have also been the beneficiary of links by Glenn Reynolds, Michelle Malkin, James Taranto, and Professor Jacobson himself.
