President Donald Trump is a fatally flawed individual, a morally-challenged man with the body of a 70-year-old but the maturity and self-control of a truculent toddler. I have tried, really I have, to identify at least one redeeming quality but, aside from the fact that he has a beautiful wife, I’ve been totally unsuccessful.
There was a scintilla of hope in January that Mr. Trump might grow and mature once installed in the office to which he was elected, but his advisers have been no match in coping with the bad habits that guide and define him. It is a tragedy for our country that, as far as our president is concerned, it would be easier for a magician to pull rabbits out of a hat than to pull habits out of a rat.

Here is Ann Coulter's latest column. As I was telling John Sullivan today, Ann tends to fall in love with political candidates. Does anyone remember her love affairs with Mitt Romney and Chris Christie, each of whom she eventually dumped? Lovers idealize the beloved. Once Ann realizes that her beloved is less than perfect, she abandons him. Most of us (thankfully) do not fall in love with politicians.
