  • As I said, James Comey is a creep, a narcissist, and a thug. President Trump will destroy him, and it will be richly deserved. Comey represents the worst of the federal bureaucracy. He is a self-important coward who is not man enough (to quote Corey Lewandowski) to take responsibility for his actions. By destroying Comey, Trump sends a message to every other cowardly bureaucrat: "Try to harm me, and you will pay, not only with your job, but with your reputation." This is why so many of us voted for Donald Trump. He is a street fighter who doesn't take shit from his enemies. Imagine John McCain or Mitt Romney acting in such a manly way. Both are wimps of the first order. George W. Bush, for all his cowboy swagger, was also a wimp, as was his father. Sad to say, but the Republican Party has grown soft. Hell, America has grown soft. I wonder whether we could defeat Germany and Japan with today's young people. Probably not.

Addendum: Here is Michael Goodwin's column, which I read after composing and posting this item.

  • After hearing all this President Donald Trump bashing, I have to say: Grow up Democrats. You put him there.

There are not enough Republicans in America to have elected him. What you did was try to shove down the throat of America a candidate who was disliked and flawed. So there was not an alternative.

The sad part is that we have many Democratic-leaning politicians who would have been fantastic and electable. But the party chose one who is painful to watch and painful to listen to.

So many would-be Democrat and independent voters cast their ballots against Hillary Clinton. In a sense, Trump did not win; Clinton lost.

This is what we have, and you are responsible. So show some class, if not for your party, then for America.

  • I believe the James Comey leaks will be far more prevalent than anyone ever thought possible. Totally illegal? Very 'cowardly!'

  • Follow my reasoning:

    1. If Donald Trump or any of his campaign associates colluded with Russia to help him win the 2016 presidential election, then there would be evidence of it.
    2. There is no evidence of it. Therefore,
    3. Neither Donald Trump nor any of his campaign associates colluded with Russia to help him win the 2016 presidential election.

What might a critic say in reply to this argument? Some critics might bite the bullet and reject premise 2, but this requires citing evidence, and many of us don't see any. Some critics might grab the bull by the horn and reject premise 1.

What is my support for premise 1? First, every leftist and his brother has been searching, diligently, for evidence of collusion. Their motivation is high, for they hope to bring down a president they detest. Second, it's hard to imagine how collusion of this sort could be kept secret, given the number of leaks there have already been. Third, "news" organizations such as the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, and CNN have been working overtime to find evidence of collusion. These are supposedly the best investigative journalists in the country. Each of them would love to be the Woodward or Bernstein for a new generation.

The conclusion of my argument follows logically from its premises. There is ample support (which I have just provided) for the truth of premise 1. That leaves premise 2. Do critics seriously want to reject it? It seems to me that the burden is on them to supply evidence of collusion. Not innuendo, not rumor, not speculation; evidence. Short of that, there is good reason to accept the conclusion.

It's time for the country to move on. The Russian-collusion story is a hoax designed to keep a duly elected president from governing. The American people now see this, and they will not take kindly next year to those who perpetuate the hoax or fail to do the public's business. I predict a Republican landslide in 2018. Not only will many Democrats be defeated; many timid Republicans (such as Speaker of the House Paul Ryan) will lose their seats as well. Write it down. Keep in mind that I predicted Donald Trump's victory.

  • Wait! I thought Cuba was a socialist paradise. I wish more Americans would go to Cuba, so as to see where Democrat policies are leading this country. Socialism has never worked and will never work. It runs up against human nature. Socialism has two effects: (1) It enriches the vanguard of the proletariat; and (2) it makes everyone else miserable—albeit equally so.

  • Former FBI Director James Comey stated that he believes that President Trump was attempting to curb an investigation because of the veiled words used when they spoke. He then asks the public to trust him because he is able to interpret the meaning of what Trump was “not exactly” saying in that conversation. Certainly, his explanation of that interpretation could be valid.

But Comey’s integrity seemed to derailed [sic] when he felt compelled to use a third party to leak the existence of his own notes to the press. A righteous man would have stood proudly and released the information himself, instead of hiding behind the shrouded efforts of a friend. If Comey were truly virtuous, he would have never stooped so low as to the use a third party.

The truth about the meaning of the conversation may never be known, but Comey’s actions would certainly lead any intelligent person to question his credibility simply based on his actions of espionage and intrigue.

Perhaps the truth is that Comey is just a scorned former employee with an ax to grind.

Note from KBJ: Like most leftists, James Comey is a creep, a narcissist, and a thug. Good riddance.
