Ridel High (1998). I have this song on a three-song promotional CD. It also appears on Emotional Rollercoaster (1998).

Here is a (short) review of a new book that contains Barack Obama's speeches. Obama is what we used to call an airhead. As manifested in his speeches, his head is filled with air rather than substance. His speeches were filled with platitudes, false dichotomies, and condescension. Obama never understood (and I'm sure still doesn't) ordinary, hard-working, God-fearing Americans. He grew up among radicals, living parts of his life abroad; he attended elite schools (including Columbia and Harvard Law); he was sheltered, pampered, and worshipped by all who knew him, even his classmates. The man thought he was born to rule. He had no particular objective in running for president; it simply seemed ordained. Once elected, he continued to scold and look down on his inferiors.I have maintained all along that what got Obama elected is White Guilt. White people had been so beaten down, for so long, by the accusation that they were racists that when they had a chance to absolve themselves of this guilt, they leapt at it, hoping thereby to prove, both to themselves and to others, that they were not racists. For the rest of their lives, they could reply to the allegation of racism that they voted for Obama. It didn't work out that way, did it? Obama divided this country in ways never before seen. If anything, he heaped more guilt on whites and stoked more anger and resentment in blacks. The irony, of course, is that Obama is half white. His mother is as white as mine. Obama chose to be black. He is not a descendant of slaves and is therefore not part of the black community in this country. Race, for him, is political: a weapon to be used to intimidate and oppress. Thank God we are rid of this airhead. He is a blight on our nation's history.

Hooray for Ariana Grande and the other brave and generous performers who joined her to show solidarity in Manchester, England. It was noble of this group to show the terrorists that they will not win in the long run.
Eventually, they will be eradicated by a public encouraged by the example of such acts of defiance as these prominent performers displayed—and the crowds who turned out to watch them.
Just as in New York recently, in Times Square, the help that the people of London gave each other in the attacks of this weekend are an example that good and selflessness will eventually overcome evil.

The FAKE MSM is working so hard trying to get me not to use Social Media. They hate that I can get the honest and unfiltered message out.

If I hear one more conservative say that President Trump should stop tweeting, I'll scream. His tweets allow him to communicate directly to the American people. They also set the agenda. The talking heads on CNN do nothing except talk about his tweets. Invariably, they distort his meaning, which makes their partisanship obvious to all. He plays them like a fiddle.

William McGurn is correct in his diagnosis of what ails progressivism. Progressives are (so they think) superior beings, looking down on the rest of us, claiming to care about us, wanting the best for us, and presuming to speak for us. See here.
