Yesterday evening, Katherine and I watched Hot Fuzz (2007), which neither of us had seen. We watched it on YouTube, which we can get on our large-screen television. (What a world!) The movie cost only $4.32, counting sales tax.The movie stars Simon Pegg, who appeared in Shaun of the Dead (2004) three years earlier. Pegg is one of those actors (Ben Stiller is another) who makes me laugh just by looking at him. I love the dry British humor of these movies. I laughed repeatedly. Yesterday's movie was violent, but the violence is cartoonish and not the sort to give you nightmares. I'll spare you the plot, which you can look up if you're interested. The movie is so filled with witticisms that I could watch it again and see things I missed.
Here is the trailer.
