What will it take? How long must we wait?

Who cannot see that this is President Donald Trump’s effort to overthrow our democracy? I don’t think we should see this entire circumstance as an aberration, or that we should ignore it as inconsequential. Or even that we should accept explanations of it as giving Trump some time to grieve his loss.

In four years of his presidency, he has been ruthless, thoughtless and inconsiderate. Such behavior does not deserve mercy or compassion. It deserves truth: He is a loser on a grand scale. His demagoguery has finally failed. In Trump’s own words, “You’re fired!”

I ask the likes of Attorney General Bill Barr, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sen. Lindsey Graham to study history. Don’t tell me this is not a weighty matter. Remember how authoritarian governments throughout history came to rise.

And what you do not remember, I will. And I will remember you.

Trump and minions continue to put people at risk during the virus and the environment. Trump continues to mislead people by giving them incorrect information and keeping money for his current and future funding and to repay his debts. He is so harmful. I hope some pro-Trump people are paying attention and are not attacking our soon to be president but to read and watch what the medical and scientific communities are telling us. Time to thank those of us who wanted to keep them and their children safe medically and environmentally instead of attacking us.
