Our loving president is worried. Not being reelected is a nightmare, and how to prevent it from happening is primary in his mind.

Limiting access to voting is part of the plan. Taking over the U.S. postal service would be helpful. Controlling the information on the COVID-19, and declaring victory wouldn’t hurt.

Sending federal agents in unmarked uniforms to Portland to smother legal protests while local government asked that they leave, is a way for him to show his power, proclaiming the White House is his forever.

Yesterday evening, Katherine and I watched RED (2010), which I had never even heard of until one of my aunts recommended it. The movie stars Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, and Helen Mirren as retired CIA agents who regroup to protect themselves from a rogue vice president who is trying to assassinate them. The movie is violent, but the violence is almost funny. I enjoyed the movie very much and look forward to watching the sequel.

Incredibly, under this president, we now see the deployment of federal agents in American cities not to quell social unrest but to create it. This is a page borrowed from the playbook of some ugly historical figures.

Don’t think it will stop here, for the next page requires that the police remain, lest the danger return: “What if the anarchists come back? Can’t have that.”

Finally, true to the playbook, this fear by proxy must be continued right through any election day.

Homeland Security or Federal Forces are little involved in Seattle, other than we have a large standby team in case of emergency. The media is calling that one wrong also. In Portland, we are protecting Federal property, including the Courthouse, which wouldn’t last a day!
