  • Those who do not like the things President Donald Trump has done often accuse him of abusing his power. By that, they usually mean he has broken laws or even violated the Constitution.

Trump has been our president for three years. Not once in those three years has he ever been found guilty of breaking any law. Not once has a charge against him ever been sent to our Supreme Court.

Why, beside the fact that he defeated Hillary Clinton, are people viciously attacking him? There is much to not like about him. He is sometimes crude, overreacts to criticism, tweets like a bird, and obviously is an egomaniac. But what really bothers them is that he has regularly demonstrated that he has the courage to make very difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions, like no previous president.

I dislike his style, his methods, and even his hair. But I give him credit for the great accomplishments he has achieved. Our president is like us—an imperfect human being.

Would I vote for him? Only if the Democrat party doesn’t offer someone with his courage who isn’t a screaming socialist politician. I am waiting.

Note from KBJ: That's okay, Bob. President Trump probably dislikes your style, methods, and hair as well.

  • As a formerly active Republican who deplores the direction the party and the federal administration have taken under the influence of President Donald Trump, I urge Washington’s disillusioned Republicans, as well as independents and Democrats, to vote for Joe Biden in our primary election on Tuesday.

I believe Biden is the best person to end the Trump presidency, begin the healing process our nation sorely needs, and restore morality and decency to the White House.

Note from KBJ: You couldn't have been much of a Republican if you fail to support President Trump, Karen. He's implementing the policies that Republicans advocated for the past several decades. Trump hater much?
