  • Absent a drumroll, the expulsion of twin brothers Lieutenant Colonels Alexander and Yevgeny Vindman from the White House nonetheless was a march of disgrace (“First taste of Trump’s revenge: 2 witnesses fired,” Page One, Feb. 8). The disgrace, however, is not upon the Vindmans, both veterans and public servants, but on our country and its so-called leader and the Republicans in Congress who should hang their hypocritical heads in shame.

They have bastardized the Constitution, the Bible, and the very meaning of America. They should choke on their words about country, flag, patriotism, honor, and God when they dare to utter them. Not one active-duty serviceman or -woman, and not one veteran, should vote for any of them.

We have phony patriotism from the Republicans, phony Christianity from the evangelicals, and a phony in the White House surrounded by phonies. With all that goes on in the world, in our country, and with our environment, I hear nothing but homilies suited for second-graders from my own Catholic Church. Enough, please—it has gone too far.

Note from KBJ: If the Vindmans want to make policy, they should get elected to something. Why is that so hard for you to understand, Ron?

  • Fake News @CNN and MSDNC have not surprisingly refused to talk about my record setting number of voters in New Hampshire (and in Iowa). That’s why they are poorly rated Fake News! I will win both states in November.

  • What has happened to the grand old Republican Party?

Patriotism and truth have flown the coop. All that matters now is self-serving loyalty to the party and its values, but there are no values left there. All that remains is greed.

Do they really believe the American people are blind to this? We are not. As they destroy our democracy they destroy their party and themselves. Lemmings marching to the slaughter.

We independent thinkers don’t choose to follow. We patriots won’t drink the Kool-Aid. We support democracy. We support the Constitution.

The House Democrats made a very strong, detailed impeachment case against President Donald Trump, whose defense team is a bad joke. They can offer no substantive defense. They attack the process and they resort to boldfaced lies. A real trial with an honest and impartial jury would react appropriately to this sham. This jury does not deviate from the party line. That says all that’s necessary. The Republican Party is seriously corrupted.

Note from KBJ: The impeachment was a farce, David. President Trump's defense team blew the House case out of the water. And don't you mean "bald-faced" rather than "boldfaced"? Moron.

  • When Jerome Powell started his testimony today, the Dow was up 125, & heading higher. As he spoke it drifted steadily downward, as usual, and is now at -15. Germany & other countries get paid to borrow money. We are more prime, but Fed Rate is too high, Dollar tough on exports.
