  • Regarding the June 23 letter “Relativism Is Growing Norm Among Elites” by Stephen Sokol:

Mr. Sokol believes that today’s celebrities and entertainers are pushing our democracy to its tipping point. But they’re not causing it to happen; they’re reacting to it happening.

He is right in a way, though. A celebrity/entertainer using vulgar stupidity, crass behavior and rejecting the responsibility of citizenship is tipping our democracy—and he resides in the White House.

  • Harley-Davidson should stay 100% in America, with the people that got you your success. I’ve done so much for you, and then this. Other companies are coming back where they belong! We won’t forget, and neither will your customers or your now very HAPPY competitors!

  • This column shows the extent to which law professors have become politicized. The Trump v. Hawaii case, decided today, was an easy case. Only a progressive ideologue could think it wrongly decided.

Addendum: To show the absurdity of the professor's reasoning, suppose Hillary Clinton had been elected president and suppose that she issued the same executive order Trump did. The professor would say that the order is constitutional, since Clinton didn't make the campaign statements Trump did. How can the constitutionality of an order depend on who issues it? The very idea is preposterous. Trump hatred has warped the minds of otherwise intelligent people.

  • To the editor:

Seeing President Trump standing on stage with the parents of four Americans killed by immigrants in the country illegally, holding their pictures, some autographed by Trump, gave me a thought.

Has he ever invited the family members of people killed in recent mass shootings to stand on the stage with him holding photos of their loved ones? Their killers were Americans.

Of course, if that were to happen, gun laws would have to be discussed.

  • Ten (1991). I'm posting videos that were recommended to me by John Sullivan. I have honestly never heard this song. I stopped listening to the radio in 1989.
