In the aftermath of Friday’s missile attack against Syria, my concern is not whether it necessarily was right or wrong, as I will leave that to the supposed experts of military and political science. Rather, I wonder if we can believe the leader of this country, when he now declares the attack an unqualified success, with all targets hit and destroyed. Given this man’s track record thus far for truthfulness, and demanding his subordinates’ unqualified loyalty without regard to what is really correct or factual, this now seems to be one of the main issues the citizens of this country must wrestle with day in and day out, along with his daily petulant child-like comments.
Granted, it appears even the military experts seem to be of the same opinion as President Donald Trump, but then again, what pressures may they be facing from within, based on this man’s history during his term of office? Is what he seeks just more self-gratification of his supposed leadership? Or can we actually take his word at face value for once? He has put himself and the rest of us in this quandary, and now it appears we must live with this constant uncertainty. It shouldn’t have to be like that. Yet, it appears he has no one else to blame than himself, and maybe so do we.

I've had my Trek Domane 5.2 (click to enlarge) for five years. Here are my mileage totals for those five years:
04-20-13 to 04-19-14: 4,089.8 miles
04-20-14 to 04-19-15: 4,560.1 miles
04-20-15 to 04-19-16: 5,462.7 miles
04-20-16 to 04-19-17: 6,024.1 miles
04-20-17 to 04-19-18: 6,336.4 miles
Total: 26,473.1 miles
Counting leap year in 2016, there have been 1,826 days during the past five years, so I've pedaled an average of 14.49 miles per day and 101.4 miles per week. Today's 40.6-mile ride gives me 2,086.2 for the year. I'm on pace for 7,300 miles, which is an average of 20 miles per day.
Addendum: The distance around the world at the equator is 24,901.55 miles. You can say that my Trek has been around the world.

There is a Revolution going on in California. Soooo many Sanctuary areas want OUT of this ridiculous, crime infested & breeding concept. Jerry Brown is trying to back out of the National Guard at the Border, but the people of the State are not happy. Want Security & Safety NOW!

Don't pay attention to media reports about today's Supreme Court decision. Most journalists have no legal competence, and those who do are so politicized that they can't report fairly. Justice Neil M. Gorsuch's 19-page concurring opinion is music to conservative ears.

The ABC “20/20” interview of fired FBI Director James Comey on Sunday night was interesting to watch, to say the least.
From my viewpoint, Mr. Comey came across as honest and truthful and even admitted he had made a few mistakes and possibly could have made better decisions. The main subject of the discussion of course was about the president’s firing of the director and the president’s conduct and events that occurred behind closed doors and this sitting president’s penchant for being an attacker of anyone who is not loyal or defending to him and his many transgressions.
It is so obvious who the serial liar really is. The “Tweeter in Chief” has already launched a barrage of messages against Mr. Comey’s character. The book will be an interesting read. I agree: This president is “morally unfit” to sit in the Oval Office.
