Lance Armstrong has reneged on his promise to post his test results online. I'm puzzled. It was supererogatory of Armstrong to make the promise, but given that he made it, why would he break it? It doesn't look good. Maybe I'm ignorant, but why can't every rider supply a urine or blood sample before every race? Yes, it would be costly, but the cost could be absorbed by those who provide financial support to cycling. Ultimately, this means the fans. They want a clean sport; they should be willing to pay for it.
