How many of you recall President Bush's actions being described as "divisive"? It was uttered with disdain, as though taking a position on a controverted matter of public policy is reprehensible. Why are the actions of President Obama not disdainfully described as divisive? Isn't he dividing the American people every bit as much as President Bush did, if not more so? Here is just one example.

Addendum: Please don't say that the reporter used the term "divisive." Pay attention! It was President Bush who was described, disdainfully, as divisive. In the New York Times story, the issue (not President Obama) is described as divisive. See the difference? President Obama takes positions on divisive issues. President Bush was divisive.
