I have news for this man: 99% of the people who watch 24 don't give a damn about what the subway system is called. Having said that, I'm still pissed off that Journey referred to "South Detroit" in one of its songs. There is no South Detroit. I lived in the Detroit metropolitan area for four years (August 1979 to August 1983) while attending law school at Wayne State University. I know Detroit like the back of my hand. I never heard the expression "South Detroit" until listening to the Journey song.
