Here is a scene from today's stage of the Giro d'Italia. Norwegian cyclist Edvald Boasson Hagen, who will celebrate his 22d birthday Sunday, won the 151.6-mile stage at an average speed of 25.28 miles per hour. I expect great things from him. Look for him to win one of the classics next year, perhaps Paris-Roubaix. It's great to see new talent coming into the sport. Here is tomorrow's stage.
