Ten of the 14 games played yesterday in Major League Baseball were decided by one run. My adoptive team, the Texas Rangers, salvaged a three-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays (one game was rained out) by winning, 1-0. Kevin Millwood is having a tremendous season. I might add that the Boston Rat Sox beat the Bronx Bombs again. That's nine straight victories. It's a great time to be a Yankee hater.
