Does anybody out there have progressive lenses? I'm 52 years old and have been wearing glasses or contact lenses since I was in my early teens, but I've never had bifocals. I'm thinking of getting progressive lenses. According to this website, progressive lenses have three viewing areas: one for distance vision, one for working at the computer, and one for reading. This is exactly what I need. A colleague informs me that it took her "about a week" to get used to progressive lenses, but she loves them. I'm encouraged by that. If you have experience with progressive lenses, do tell all, either as a comment to this post or, if you prefer privacy, as an e-mail message.
