It was 100.2º Fahrenheit when I left the house to run and 100.9º when I returned. My standard summer course is 3.1 miles. I wimped out and ran 2.0 miles for the third consecutive day. It takes only 15 minutes, not counting the cool-down walk. Is it hot in your neck of the woods? If so, what do you do to escape it? What did people do before air conditioning? Were they tougher than we are, or did they simply suffer more (or both)?
