I know I sound like a broken record, but a Hall of Fame without Pete Rose is like Mount Rushmore without George Washington. Pete is only the greatest player in the history of Major League Baseball. You don't have to agree with me about the latter in order to agree with me that he belongs in the Hall. I'm sure Hank Aaron, for example, would not agree with the latter, but he does agree with the former. Good for Hammer.
