I don't own stock in Charter Communications, so don't think that my praise of the company is rooted in self-interest. I've had high-speed Internet access through Charter cable for five years, as of today. (Earlier, I had—and still have—Charter cable television.) The DSL service I had until then (via EarthLink) was terrible. My Charter connection is always on, and the speed is excellent. Just thought I'd put in a plug for a good company. Goodness knows I complain about things when they don't work.
