Forgive me for gloating, but my beloved Detroit Tigers came back from 4-0 and 6-2 deficits this afternoon to beat the Seattle Mariners, 7-6. This is the 25th anniversary of the most recent World Series title for the Tigers (in 1984). I've said many times that, having seen my team win two World Series (1968 and 1984), I can die happy. I want to die happier.
