Here, courtesy of my Yankee-loving friend John, is an interesting baseball column. If my beloved Detroit Tigers reach the playoffs, and it appears that they will, they could go far. They have at least three dominating pitchers and several clutch hitters (e.g., Brandon Inge, Miguel Cabrera, Carlos Guillen, Placido Polanco). It would be fitting if the Tigers won the World Series this year. It's the 25th anniversary of their most recent victory, in 1984.
