Have you heard of "accident forgiveness"? Read this. It says: "Accident Forgiveness Helps keep your rates from going up just because of an accident. Even if it's your fault." You know damn well that the insurance company isn't eating the costs. It's passing them on to all insureds. That means responsible drivers are subsidizing irresponsible drivers. How does that make you feel? It makes me want to find an automobile insurer that doesn't have accident forgiveness.
Addendum: According to this site (scroll to the final section), some insurers charge extra for accident forgiveness. Only those who have paid for it get it. I have no problem with this. My post was about accident forgiveness where no extra premium was paid.
