I'm 52 years old. It's been 32 years to the day since I had alcohol. I don't miss it a bit. Would you?
Addendum: Are there any rock-and-roll musicians who abstain from alcohol? I seem to recall some, but I can't think of their names offhand. I should make it clear that I have nothing against drinking. It's simply not for me. I should also say that I don't care to be around people who are drinking, especially if they have drunk too much. It's just a personal preference, not a moral position.
Addendum 2: I thought of a teetotaling rocker: Ted Nugent, the Motor City Madman. Good on you, Ted. I'm also thinking that Joe Perry of Aerosmith is clean.
Addendum 3: "Drink" is inflected drink/drank/drunk. I drink; I drank; I have drunk. Drunks are people who have drunk too much. Of course, by that logic, dranks are people who drank too much and drinks are people who drink too much.
