Here are scenes from today's Tour of Flanders. The winner, Swiss cyclist Fabian Cancellara, averaged 25.02 miles per hour on the 160.9-mile course, which contains a number of steep hills (some paved with cobblestones). I watched two hours' worth of highlights this afternoon on Versus. Americans Tyler Farrar and George Hincapie finished fifth and sixth, respectively. Lance Armstrong finished a respectable 27th, 2:35 behind Cancellara. Next week: the Hell of the North.
